What is Spider Solitaire?

Spider uses two decks (104 cards) dealt into ten columns. You build cards down in rank to assemble a complete run from King down to Ace in a single suit; each completed run is removed. Clear all eight runs to win.

Choose your difficulty by the number of suits in play: one suit is a relaxing warm-up, two suits a solid challenge, and four suits the real test. Unlimited, free, and no login required.

How to play (60-second version)

  1. Build columns down by rank β€” any suit can sit on a card one higher.
  2. You can only pick up a run if it's all the same suit, in order.
  3. Complete a King→Ace run of one suit and it's cleared automatically.
  4. Tap the deck to deal one card to every column β€” but only when no column is empty.
  5. Clear all eight suits to win.

Frequently asked questions

Is Spider Solitaire free?
Yes β€” completely free, supported by ads, no login.
What's the difference between 1, 2 and 4 suits?
Fewer suits means it's far easier to build long same-suit runs. One suit is the easiest mode; four suits is the hardest.
Why won't the deck deal?
Spider's rule is that you can't deal a new row while any column is empty β€” fill the gaps first.
Is there a daily puzzle?
Yes β€” the Daily Challenge deals everyone the same game each day and tracks your streak.
